With the Government of Saskatchewan’s plans for Step 3 of the Re-Opening Roadmap to begin on July 11, the City of Weyburn is preparing adjustments to its COVID-19 preventative measures for City programs and facilities.
The City of Weyburn continues to keep the health of employees and patrons top of mind to ensure services are delivered safely to residents. Frequent review of these new measures will take place to remain compliant with Government of Saskatchewan public health orders.
Masks and Physical Distancing
Masking and physical distancing requirements will be guided by applicable Government of Saskatchewan directives at the time. As of July 11, masks are not required but are always welcome to be worn. The City encourages respect of everyone’s personal space.
Throughout the summer, any remaining outdoor and facility signage indicating mask wearing and/or physical distancing will be addressed by City crews.
Leisure Facilities and Programs
City leisure centres and seasonal facilities are preparing to increase regular programming throughout the summer. Details are available on the City’s website and social media channels. Watch for information and announcements regarding programs and services at www.weyburn.ca.
City Hall
Payment services continue to be open for in-person transactions. The City encourages access to the remainder of City Hall be scheduled by appointment but welcomes public to in-person meetings with staff.
Public Works Building
The City’s Public Works and Parks facility is accessible to the public. Scheduled appointments are encouraged but the City welcomes in-person general inquiries and payments.
