The City of Estevan has announced it will host the inaugural Halloween after party on Nov. 1.

Because of COVID-19 and the necessary shift in safety protocols it has brought, the annual ‘Velcome to Affinity’ event at Affinity Place has been called off, but the city has been working hard to adapt to this challenge so visitors can continue to make those fun memories.

The RM of Estevan Aquatic Centre will be transformed for a Halloween after party event for all ages.

“When visitors arrive to the RM of Estevan Aquatic Centre, they will see something extraordinary with the colour of the water,” hinted Erin Wilson, program manager for the City of Estevan’s leisure services division.

There will be two times slots to enjoy the event from 1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. Sixty attendees will be allowed in the pool, and all attendees must practice social distancing.

Online registration opens Oct. 26 at www.estevan.ca.
