Academic Awards Night for the Weyburn Comprehensive School will be held on Monday, June 5, starting at 7 p.m. These awards will be for Grade 12 academic achievement in various subjects and scholarships.
A number of WCS track athletes will be off to the SHSAA Provincial Track Meet this weekend, June 2-3, in Saskatoon. This is the final athletic event for the year.
Grade 6 Night took place on May 30 in the Cugnet Centre for all prospective Grade 7’s along with their parents, plus any new students from other grades.
Graduation is coming up quickly with the event being staged on Saturday, June 10. Events open to the public are the ceremonies at 10 a.m., the punch reception at 2 p.m. and the Grand March in the Cugnet Centre at 8 p.m.
The supper is open to ticket holders only at 5:30 p.m. at the Curling Rink, and the Chem-Free Grad party, to be held after the Grand March, is open to grads and guests only with invitations.
