Katelyn Zuckewich of Vilcu’s Karate Club does a series of forms with a weapon as she competes in Vilcu’s annual karate tournament on Saturday at the Comp School’s west gym. Katelyn is 10 years old, and has only been competing for two years, but has progressed to where she is attending tournaments around the province and in the United States, often against older competitors. In this category, she was up against competitors who were 14.
