Carlyle Town Council held their regular bi-weekly meeting Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Carlyle Civic Centre with Deputy Mayor John Brownlee presiding. Council's next regular meeting will take place 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Civic Centre.

The annual Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association meetimg will be held Feb. 5-8, 2017 in Saskatoon. Mayor Wayne Orsted, Town Administrator Huguette Lutz and Councillors Dean Hoffman and Brian Romaniuk will attend.
Fire
The Carlyle & R.M. #63 Fire Protection Board has reviewed the agreements for fire protection for the Bear Claw Casino. White Bear First Nations and White Bear Lake Resort and is currently in the process of finalizing them.
Strategic planning
Council will begin the process of strategic planning for the next year, starting at the Nov. 30 meeting.
