Rodney Blyth, left, of Moncton, N.B., chatted with Const. Jeff Bartsch at the Weyburn police station on Friday, after the cross-Canada walker arrived in Weyburn to see his friend, Rev. Tim MacKinnon of the Calvary Baptist Church. Blyth started from the Halifax Harbour on April 30, and aims to end his walk in the Pacific Ocean in Vancouver in mid-October. He is raising awareness and funds for World Vision. Const. Bartsch has taken part in a number of runs, including half-marathons, in full gear as he raises awareness of mental health issues.
