The City of Estevan has announced that the Highway 47 South/Souris Avenue South construction and resurfacing project has started from the junction with Highway 18 to First Street.
Detours are set up for one-way traffic, with flag people directing motorists.
The speed limit has been reduced to 30 kilometres per hour. Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution and follow all detour signage.
They are also asked to please be patient during this important construction project.
