The long awaited move into the brand new building on Highway 13 West in Weyburn finally became a reality as staff and management of E. Bourassa & Sons opened the doors to the public in their new facility.
Since starting business in Weyburn in 2009, the overwhelming support of the farming community resulted in substantial growth and the need for a larger facility. After years of planning, construction began in December 2012 on the 48,000 sq ft facility on the west side of Weyburn which now includes a stand-alone 5000 sq ft Napa Auto Parts store attached to the New Holland Ag store.
Sitting on 19 acres of land in the R.M of Weyburn, E. Bourassa & Sons has spared very little expense when it comes to functionality both inside and outside of their new facility. With multiple points of entry to the property and dedicated parking for semi truck/trailers there is virtually no congestion and ample customer and staff parking on asphalt surfacing.
The New Holland Ag side of the facility includes a 4000 square-foot showroom which now includes retail space for many more items including the addition of New Holland clothing and gift items as well as enough space for showing large tractors indoors.
A comfortable customer lounge and unique kids play center makes all customers feel right at home. The classroom on the second level will be used for customer clinics and events as well as staff training, where in the past they had to host these types of events off-site at hotels in town. The utilization of drawer systems in the parts department increases efficiency and allows for more parts in less space. The parts department currently has enough room for more than double their current inventory which will allow for many years of growth. The state of the art shop includes 16 overhead doors, in-floor heat, overhead crane, separated wash bay, a dedicated machine room and full service locker rooms for both men and women.
