The Estevan Police Service conducted traffic initiatives in conjunction with the RCMP Friday.
In a message on the EPS Twitter feed, they said they interacted with 113 vehicles Friday. Only 17 were issued summary offence tickets.
The other interactions were warnings and inspection notices for equipment deficiencies.
“In the past we have had stats the other way around where we saw very poor driving behaviours. Thank you to all who took care out there.”
The EPS says it will continue to do different traffic safety initiatives over the summer so they ask motorists to continue to be safe and considerate.
