Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for drug trafficking on Saturday.
Police arrested a 40-year-old Regina man following a traffic stop. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Narcotics, currency and weapons were seized.
He was further charged with being in possession of proceeds of crime and breaching a release condition, stemming from criminal charges in Regina.
The man was to be released Sunday on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in Estevan on March 1.
