Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for an assault with a weapon on Dec. 30.
Police received a report of a disturbance in the Pleasantdale area. Officers attended and arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with the incident. He was lodged in cells to be released on conditions before a justice of the peace.
Police also received a report of a mischief to property. A residence was reported as damaged prior to being moved from Estevan to another community. The matter is still under investigation.
The EPS received a report on Dec. 29 of a harassing communication. Officers have spoken with the complainant and are continuing to investigate.
Officers received a panic alarm from a local establishment. Members attended and spoke with an individual who was upset. The matter was resolved without the need for further action.
