St. Joseph’s Hospital has announced the arrival of Dr. Simranjit Chhabra, a family physician, who started her practice this month in Estevan at the Primacy Medical Clinic, located at the No Frills Grocery store.
Chhabra has over 14 years’ experience in family medicine and emergency medicine and has a special interest in preventative medicine and care of the elderly. She has recently successfully completed the Saskatchewan International Physician Practice Assessment Program (SIPPA).
Her SIPPA assessment included clinical assessments in Regina and Melville as well as the Moose Jaw Hospital Emergency Room.
St. Joseph’s Hospital executive director Greg Hoffort said: “Dr. Chhabra is a welcome addition to the medical staff in Estevan in terms of the family practice she will establish as well as the service to the hospital emergency department which is staffed by our family physicians.”
