Weyburn Rotarian Deana Mainil picked out the three golf balls that fell into a designated hole as Brenda King wrote down the numbers, during the annual Golf Ball Drop. The Golf Ball Drop was held at the Weyburn Golf Course on Saturday. This fundraiser was held by the Weyburn and Estevan Rotary Clubs, with the proceeds to be split between the clubs, and with the STARS Air Ambulance. Jan Bannerman from Weyburn won $5,000, Gil Mountney from Estevan won $3,000 and Weyburn Rotary exchange student Liza Biard won $1,000.
