Members of Focal Point, a group from the Stoughton-Forget area, performed a number of their Celtic-flavoured tunes at the welcoming supper for the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show on Tuesday evening in the Weyburn Curling Rink. A steak-and-lobster supper was served to a crowd of over 1,100 people, with volunteers from the Red Wings serving the hungry crowd. The Oil Show officially got underway Wednesday morning, including a panel discussion with Premier Scott Moe and Alberta’s Premier Jason Kenney, and presentation of the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Recognition Awards.
