The Weyburn Branch of the Saskatchewan Geneological Society has had a very busy summer finalizing and promoting their project to commemorate the City of Weyburn's Centennial year. The project, "Glimpses of Weyburn - Centennial Edition" is a pictoral review of Weyburn over the years. The book consists of 268 pages. Due to the high demand we were able to decrease the price of the book from $130 to $90. "Glimpses of Weyburn - Centennial Edition" is also available in CD for $25. The next Weyburn Branch SGS meeting is Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 pm at the Weyburn Public Library. Gloria Onstad will be giving a report on her trip to Scotland in June, when she & her daughter did family tree research. The meeting is open to everyone.
