A crew of workers from ASL Paving quickly laid down a strip of asphalt along Government Road on Thursday, enabling the road to finally reopen on Friday morning to traffic, after being inaccessible for several months due to the sewer replacement project. This paving is a temporary fix, to enable traffic to drive on it through the winter until next spring, when Government Road will be properly paved over its entire surface.
