Gord Paulley honoured for 40 year-career at CIBC

Forty years to the day he first began his banking career with CIBC, financial advisor Gord Paulley of the bank's Carlyle branch was honoured on Thursday, July 2 for both his career achievements and his decades of service.

Financial Advisor Gord Paulley was honoured on July 2 for his 40 years of service at CIBC, 29 of them at the Carlyle bank branch.             Forty years to the day he first began his banking career with CIBC, financial advisor Gord Paulley of the bank's Carlyle branch was honoured on Thursday, July 2 for both his career achievements and his decades of service.

            “It's 40 years, right on the nose today,” says Paulley. “And for the past 29 (years), I've been here in Carlyle.”

            Helping Paulley celebrate his career anniversary were branch staff and clients, as well as the CIBC's District Vice-President for the bank's southern Saskatchewan district, Cheryl Zankl, who made the trip from Regina to officially honour him.

            “Retirement hasn't been decided yet,” says Paulley. “I love what I'm doing and I really enjoy working with my high-value clients.”

            “And it's great to work and live here in Carlyle.”
