Mental health is a priority in our school. Our COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan includes support for students’ mental health, while we practice physical safety. We use a variety of curricula, programs and presentations to encourage emotional wellness for all students. Counselling support is available so students and their families can receive crisis assistance, referrals or general counselling related to learning needs. Supporting mental health in schools supports student learning. To find out more about the mental health support available in school visit secpsd.ca or contact us at 306-453-2500.
A new reporting system called EDSBY has been rolled out for parents to use in order to see students’ attendance and marks. Its purpose is to improve electronic communication between school and home. Contact the school if you haven’t received your password or are having problems logging onto the system (306) 453-2500. Remember, if you ever have questions or concerns to discuss with your child’s particular teachers, please email the teacher or contact the school. Email addresses follow the pattern of: teacher first name.teacher last name @secpsd.ca
All your school information can be found on the GF Kells website on the Southeast Cornerstone Public School Division website under the “schools” tab. (http://www.secpsd.ca/school/GFKells) Please check it out.
