A pair of combines, in the background at left, work on finishing up a field of durum northeast of Weyburn near Fillmore on the evening of Oct. 9 on the Russ Leguee farm, as another combine at right off-loads into a grain truck waiting to take the grain to storage or to one of the area elevators. With the return of warm dry weather, a number of producers have been able to make further progress on harvest after a number of intermittent delays caused by rain showers in the southeast area.
