Mal Barber, president of the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation, gets interviewed, right before a special announcement by Crescent Point Energy where they committed $4.5 million to the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation. This donation pushed the Hospital Foundation past their $20 million goal, and they will continue to fund raise for a new facility, and equipment for that facility. It will be up to the provincial government, who is responsible for 80 per cent of the facility costs, to make their commitment, before details on location or facility size for a new hospital will be revealed.
