The Southeast Newcomers Society is offering three workshops that focus on different aspects of the job search process. These workshops are hosted in partnership with the Weyburn Public Library branch, Southeast Regional Library and Labour Market Services.
There will be three workshops focused on developing effective resumes and cover letters, and conducting interviews. The schedule includes a resume workshop on Thursday, June 8; a cover letter workshop on Thursday, June 15; and an interview workshop on Thursday, June 22. All workshops will be held at the Weyburn Public Library from 2 to 4 p.m.
Participants may take their resumes or cover letters to the workshops and these will be reviewed at the end of the sessions. There will also be an employer at each session who will give insight and answer questions.
