Trenna Keating, a former Weyburn local, takes the role of Doc Yewll in a new science fiction series "Defiance". The TV series will be aired on SyFy (Showcase in Canada), and is being produced in collaboration with a "Defiance" massively multiplayer online (MMO) video game. Set in the near future, "Defiance" introduces an exotically transformed planet Earth, its landscapes permanently altered following the sudden -- and tumultuous - arrival of seven unique alien races.
