The Kisbey branch of the Royal Canadian Legion has announced that due to pandemic restrictions and uncertainty, there will be no public Remembrance Day service in Kisbey on Nov. 11.
Branch members and officials will conduct a brief formal ceremony at the cenotaph, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
We encourage everyone to view one of the many televised or online ceremonies that will be available and to observe two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. in honour of the fallen, more than 30 of whom came from the Kisbey and Pheasant Rump First Nation communities.
Poppies are available at local businesses.
