It didn’t take long for new Souris-Moose Mountain MP Robert Kitchen to work his way into a critic job for the federal Conservative Party.
Kitchen was named the Tories’ critic for sport on Nov. 19, one month after he was elected as Souris-Moose Mountain’s MP in the federal election.
He is one of 18 Tory MPs to be named to critic posts. Thirty-four more Tories were appointed to the party’s shadow cabinet by interim leader Rona Ambrose.
Since coming to Estevan to work as a chiropractor about 25 years ago, Kitchen has been involved with a number of different sports organizations, including the CanElson Drilling Estevan Bruins, the Estevan Minor Hockey Association and Estevan Youth and Mini Soccer.
