Gerald Borrowman lit the candles during the Day of Mourning ceremonies held at the T.C. Douglas Centre on Saturday morning by the Weyburn Labour Council. The day was held to remember those who have been injured or killed on the job in 2017. The final candle was lit in memory of the victims of the Humboldt Broncos team bus crash on April 6 which killed 16 people, six of whom were working at the time, including the coaches, trainer, statitician, game announcer and bus driver.
