A traffic stop in central Estevan on Christmas Eve resulted in a 25-year-old Estevan man having his driver’s license suspended for 72 hrs.
Besides, his vehicle was impounded for three days.
A roadside screening test showed positive results for marijuana.
The previous day, the Estevan Police Service also received a report of an insurance fraud where the suspect attempted to have funds diverted to another account. The matter is still under investigation.
