Mayor Marcel Roy, left, gave instructions about how the downtown cleanup would go on Saturday morning, as volunteers gathered at Memorial Park prior to starting, with city staff, Girl Guides, staff from RBC and the Credit Union along with city residents volunteering. The group split up to do cleanup around the downtown, and a lunch barbecue was held at the end of the cleanup. The event was held to kickoff a city-wide cleanup effort with the arrival of spring weather.
