Mayor Debra Button gets dumped with ice water from a front-end loader at the City Works Shop on Friday afternoon, answering the challenge put down by Mayor Michael Fougere of Regina to raise funds for ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) with an Ice Bucket Challenge. Mayor Button said she would accept the challenge if she could raise $500 in a 24-hour period; she ended up doubling that amount, raising around $1,000, and she in turn issued a challenge to Mayor Roy Ludwig of Estevan to do the challenge within 24 hours, as well as one of Saskatchewan's other women mayors, Deb Higgins of Moose Jaw.
