Due to road maintenance, Perkins Street from Second Avenue to Kensington Avenue is closed Thursday.
Heavy traffic will be rerouted down Fourth Street.
The public is requested to follow the detour route and use caution when driving through construction zones.
Remember to be aware of moving equipment and construction workers.
Also, the 800-block of Valley Street and the 200-block of Duncan Road are closed Thursday with no through traffic due to road patching. The public is asked to avoid these areas until the end of the day.
