The number of COVID-19 cases in Zone 4 remains at three.

There are two new cases of COVID-19 to report in the South East region on June 20, while another case with a pending residence information has been assigned to the South East.

Two of the new cases are in South East 1, which is northwest of Zone 4, and one new case is in South East 2, which is north of Zone 4.

There are 60 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on June 20, bringing the provincial total to 48,441 cases.

The other new cases are located in the following zones: Far North West, 4; Far North East, 1; North West, 9; North Central, 4; Saskatoon, 27; Central West, 1; Regina, 9; and South Central, 3.

One new death is being reported today in the 70 to 79 age group from the North West zone. A total of 563 people with COVID-19 have died in Saskatchewan.

Seventy-six people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 47,135. Seven of the new recoveries are from the South East region.

A total of 743 cases are considered active, including 34 from the South East.

There are 79 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 67 receiving inpatient care and 12 in intensive care. For the third straight day, nobody is in hospital with COVID-19 in the South East region.  

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 69.

There were 1,384 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on June 19, including 152 in the South East.
