Katelyn Stromgren enjoys the view from the top of her horse, Whiskey, as she rides across Canada with the goal to eventually reach Kelowna, B.C., by the end of summer or early fall. She just passed through Weyburn on June 12-13, heading west on Highway 13, and stopped at the Gina Bowler farm before heading west to the Ogema area and beyond. She was originally from B.C. and had moved to the Montreal area, and is on the second half of her journey with Whiskey back to the west, making about 40 to 50 kilometres a day. She is tracking her journey on a blog at www.onegirlonehorseonecountry.wordpress.com, plus she is also on Facebook at One Girl, One Horse, One Country.
