A "Small Business Week" will be observed from Sunday, Oct. 19 to Saturday, Oct. 25, which is a national celebration of Canadian entrepreneurs and their contribution to Canada's economy. The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) has been organizing Small Business Week for 34 years. Small and medium-sized enterprises represent 99.9 per cent of all companies and employ more than 60 per cent of private sector workers.
