To kick off the festivities of the holiday season is the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce Parade of Lights.
The Parade of Lights takes place Thursday, December 5, at 7p.m., starting at the Weyburn Exhibition Grounds.
Anyone wishing to enter the Parade of Lights may visit the Chamber website at weyburnchamber.com to register or by calling the Chamber office at 306-842-4738.
All float entries must line up in the Crescent Point Place parking lot at 6:15 p.m. There will not be a set line-up for the parade.
The Parade will take floats through the streets of Weyburn beginning at the Exhibition Grounds, east on Prairie Avenue, turning south on 3rd Street to Railway Avenue, north on 2nd Street, then west on Coteau Avenue, north on Government Road back to the Exhibition Grounds.
