The parade of antique tractors and vehicles made its way through the Heritage Village at Midale on Saturday in the midst of a downpour, as part of the annual Pioneer Echoes event. Usually the parade would be followed by a threshing demonstration, but organizers deemed the weather too wet to attempt it on Saturday, but went ahead with the threshing demo on Sunday. A pancake breakfast was held both mornings, and the Heritage Village buildings were open for viewing throughout the weekend, with pie slices and fried bread dough available along with the food booth, and Midale School held a reunion on Saturday.
