Members of the Estevan Police Service charged a motorist for prohibited driving on Saturday.
A traffic stop in central Estevan resulted in a 21-year-old man being charged with driving while prohibited. The man had been convicted of impaired driving in September and as a result of the conviction, was prohibited from driving. Along with the charge, his vehicle was seized for 30 days.
Also on Saturday, police were called to an apartment in the downtown area regarding an unwanted guest. Members located the male who was still at the residence. He was told by the tenant to leave and that he is not welcome there. Police advised the male that if he returned, he would be charged.
It appears the EPS had a fairly quiet Christmas Day, as they have yet to report anything through their news releases or their social media channels.
