On September 14, Police received an alarm from a local bar. When officers arrived they found an open window, the building was searched and nothing was found.
Also on September 14, Police received a noise complaint. A 34 year-old female was warned about the noise.
On September 14, a 22 year-old female reported that culprit(s) entered her vehicle and stole her wallet. Police are investigating the theft.
Also on September 14, a 36 year-old male attended the Weyburn Police station after being assaulted by a 33 year-old female. He provided a statement but did not want charges laid in the incident.
On September 13, an officer on patrol found a 22 year-old male passed out beside a local bar. He was arrested for being drunk in public and lodged in cells overnight until he was sober.
On September 12, a vehicle drove through a crosswalk and nearly hit a crossing guard. The license number was provided and the incident is under investigation.
Also on September 12, Police received a driving complaint from a 16 year-old female who stated that the suspect vehicle sped past two other vehicles. An officer located and warned a 21 year-old male about his driving actions.
On September 11, a 20 year-old male reported that his vehicle had been damaged while it was parked in his garage. He suspected that other tenants from his residence had damaged the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
On September 10, the 48 year-old female victim of an assault attended the Weyburn Police station. Her nose had been bleeding; she had bruising on her face and a black eye. The suspect, a 51 year-old male was arrested the following day. He was charged with assault causing bodily harm and was released on the following conditions; keep the peace and be of good behavior and he is not to have any contact with the victim.
On September 9, a concerned parent called the Weyburn Police station about her 16 year-old son, who stated that he wasn't coming home. Victim Services was offered to the parent and she accepted the referral.
Also on September 9, Police received a call about a two vehicle accident in the northeast area of the City. A 24 year-old male had collided with a parked vehicle and backed into a second vehicle. He drove to his residence, parked and went into his house. Officers located the individual, called EMS and the man was transported to the hospital. He was charged with failing to report an accident, driving without due care and attention and he may be charged with impaired driving.
Also on September 9, Police received a call regarding an accident in the northeast area of the City. A 31 year old male had driven out of a parking lot, across the street and hit the guard rail at a school. The man was found in his vehicle when officers arrived. He was arrested for impaired driving and taken into custody. He was charged with Having the Care or Control of a vehicle while Over .08 and operate an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.
On September 8, Police received a call regarding a suspicious male. Officers attended a residence and found a 22 year-old male who had asked the homeowner for "weeds". The man was given a warning and sent on his way.
