A male from Mainprize Park was charged for impaired driving and failing to report an accident, and in a separate incident a male from Calgary was charged with driving while over .08, suspended driving and failing to report an accident. Both will be appearing in court in November.

Police were called to a downtown residence to investigate a report of an injured intoxicated female on August 31. The matter is under investigation.

As a result of a previous complaint where a vehicle was located damaged and abandoned in the city, a male from Mainprize was arrested and charged with impaired driving and failing to report an accident on August 31.

Police were called to a downtown bar to assist with an injured male on August 30. The male who was intoxicated had fallen. He was taken home after being looked at by EMS.

Police were called to investigate an alleged assault by a female who was walking two dogs and approached a vehicle and assaulted an occupant on August 30. The matter is being investigated.

Police were called to a motor vehicle accident on Fifth Street on August 30. A suspect vehicle had struck a fence and left the scene. The driver was later located and charged with driving while over .08 and suspended driving. He will appear in court in November.

On August 28, police were called to a local bar to investigate a report of a dog being left in a vehicle on a hot day. Police found that the dog did have air circulation and water. The owner of the dog was advised of the concern.

Police were called to investigate a report of an email scam on August 27 where the victim was asked to send money by Western Union. The matter is under investigation.

On August 27, police were called to a neighbor dispute where one party accused the other of trespassing. The matter was mediated.

Police were called to investigate an assault with a weapon allegation on August 27. A local male was arrested and released with non contact conditions.

Police were called to a domestic situation in the core area of the city on August 27. The matter was mediated with one party leaving the home.

On August 27, police were called to investigate a disturbance at a local store. The matter is under investigation.

While on patrol members stopped a vehicle disobeying a stop sign, the vehicle's driver was also suspended for three days from driving because of prior alcohol consumption on August 26.

Police were called to a domestic situation on August 25, where one roommate asked another to leave and police had to attend to mediate a property dispute.

Police were called to assist with an investigation of a theft of a vehicle from Lloydminster on August 25.

On August 25, police were called to investigate a domestic situation involving custody of children. The matter was mediated.
