Ryan Fowler competes in a deadlifting event at the IPF men's and women's open powerlifting world championship. This was his final event of a squat, bench press and deadlift.
For his own performance, Ryan totalled 857.5 kg, had two personal bests from his lifting, and placed 14th in his weight class. Fowler achieved a personal best, and national record of 332.5 kg during his squat attempt; and another personal best of 245 kg during the bench press.
Ryan missed the third lift of the deadlift, and was unable to hit a personal best.
In addition to competing, Fowler coached other members of Team Canada that attended the open powerlifting world championships.
