Don Kraft, general manager of the Prairie Sky Co-op, was presented with a laser-cut sign by St. Michael School principal Dean Loberg, at the official opening of the school’s Deeper Learning Lab on October 17. The Co-op is sponsoring the lab with $5,000 a year for the next five years. The lab includes a 3-D printer and a laser cutter, plus equipment for video production, and a selection of computers, appliances and power tools that can be dissembled and put back together by the students.
