The fire and rescue department for the Town of Carlyle and the Rural Municipality of Moose Mountain remain confident they will be answering calls from new headquarters later this year.

DSI is the general contractor on Carlyle’s new fire hall project, which is situated on the west side of Carlyle, adjacent to the current home of the department.

Project manager Alyssa Wolfe reports, “Everything is on schedule and workers are taking advantage of the good weather.”

The metal roofing, which is standing seam, was to be finished last week and next up will be the enclosing of the building, giving way to the placement of the floor slab concrete.

Completion of the project is to be November as planned, barring any unforeseen interruptions.
