Members of the Malayali community in Weyburn gathered their families together for Onam celebrations, which is a harvest festival from their part of India. The festival celebrates harvest with numerous feasts and dances, games, races and folk songs. The local festival was held in the Free Methodist fellowship hall on Saturday, and included several courses of food from their region of India.
