The Assiniboia RCMP required the public’s assistance in locating a missing/runaway 14-year-old from Ardill, a community 43.2 kilometres north of Assiniboia on Highway Two on the evening of May 3.
Abigail Byers was last seen walking away from her residence in Ardill earlier on May 3, wearing jeans, a grey hoodie and a black winter jacket.
Abigail has family in Moose Jaw and some believed she might have been heading there. However, Corporal M. Dijkstra of the Assiniboia RCMP reported the missing runaway from Ardill had returned home on the morning of May 4.
