ESTEVAN - Electricity has been restored in the Estevan area.
In a tweet sent at 11:28 a.m. Monday, SaskPower said its crews had been dispatched and were determining the cause and repair time for the outage.
It was affecting Estevan and surrounding rural areas.
At 12:30 p.m., SaskPower said electricity had been restored.
According to SaskPower, the issue originated with a transmission line in the Bromhead area. To minimize the impact, SaskPower was switching to keep as many customers on as possible.
A power outage on Sunday affected 1,200 customers in west Estevan, as well as in the Bromhead, Torquay and Oungre areas.
The outage on Monday was in similar areas, although more ratepayers were impacted in Estevan. It affected around 1,800 ratepayers.
