Scholarships and bursaries were presented to Grade 12 students from the Weyburn Comprehensive School, during their annual awards night on June 6.
The Beta Sigma Phi XiXi Bursary was presented to Josh Zackrisson. The Captain Juli-Ann MacKenzie Memorial Bursary was awarded to Olivia Barber. The Catholic Women’s League Bursary was awarded to Josh Zackrisson and Jade Hayes. The Crescent Point Energy Corp. Bursary in Memory of Ken Cugnet was presented to Thomas Goranson. The Darold Kot Scholarship and Estevan Motor Speedway Scholarship did not have recipients this year. The Evan and Mary Goranson Family Scholarship – Business was awarded to Tylan Charlton. The Evan and Mary Goranson Family Scholarship – Nursing was presented to Kelly Kwochka. The Grad ’84 Rocks! Bursary was presented to Chantel Vogel. The Grad ’96 Scholarship was awarded to Chantel Vogel. The Grad 2017 Scholarship was presented to Thomas Goranson.
The Grieg Seafood Bursary was presented to Brogan Regier. The Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division #140 Bursary was awarded to Brogan Regier and Mitchell Tuscherer. The Jerry and Orlanda Mainil Bursary was presented to Keyanna Swanson and Braeden Junk. The Jim Rose Memorial Bursary was presented to Vismaya Bhaskaran. The Masonic Lodge Latomia – Weyburn #20 Bursary was presented to Gabriela Pozner. The Matthew Mondor Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Trinity Howells and Thomas Goranson. The Naylor Family Award was awarded to Krista Smith. The Parish & Heimbecker Weyburn Scholarship was awarded to Kyler Douglas.
The Prairie Sky Co-operative Scholorship was presented to Morgan Sidloski and Brogan Regier. The RM of Weyburn Memorial Award was presented to Keyanna Swanson. The Royal Canadian Legion Weyburn Branch #47 Bursary was awarded to Breane McCormick, Dallin Chicoine, and Bailey Brenholen. The Sask Superannuated Teachers Scholarship will be presented on a later date. The Saskatchewan Union of Nurses Local 63 Annual Bursary had no applicants this year. The Nursing Award also did not have a recipient this year. The Sask Youth Apprenticeship Scholarship was awarded to Braedon Junk. The Satre/Nieviadomy Dental Scholarship was awarded to Lindsey McCleod. The South Country Equipment Ag Scholarship was presented to Trinity Howells.
The South Country Equipment JD Tech had no applicants and the Stewart Steel Bursary had no suitable applicants this year. The Tony and Madeleine Moser Memorial Scholarship was presented to Morgan Sidloski, Payton Oberg, and Mary Sidloski. The Violet Delrose Moore Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Matthew O’Neill. The Violet Delrose Moore English Scholarship was presented to Trinity Howells. The Weyburn Agricultural Society Scholarship will be announced at a later date.
The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce Scholarship was awarded to Bailey Brenholen. The Weyburn Comprehensive School Citizenship Award was presented to Keyanna Swanson. The Weyburn Comprehensive School (Kinolta) Award was presented to Callyn Burns. The Weyburn Comprehensive School Leadership Award was presented to Brogan Regier.
The Weyburn Comprehensive School Student Scholarship was awarded to Morgann Rogal. The Weyburn Credit Union R. S. Williamson/Eliford Mott Memorial Scholarship was presented to Matthew O’Neill, Bailey Brenholen, and Denae Neufeld. The Weyburn Fire Brigade In memory of Eric Lanktree was awarded to Payton Oberg, The Weyburn Kinsmen and Kinette Scholarship was awarded to Chantel Vogel.
The Weyburn Rotary Club Scholarship was awarded to Ruslan Edgerton and Emma Fletcher. The Weyburn Wildlife Federation Bursary was presented to Keyanna Swanson. The Weyburn Young Fellows Don Murray Memorial Bursary was presented to Vismaya Bhaskaran. The Young’s Equipment Inc. Scholarship was awarded to Erik Kot.
