"This idea came together really quickly when we heard about the need at the Food Banks," said McGrath. "I am very proud of our staff for being so responsive and creating a simple and effective way to give back to our communities."

The public is invited to help Southeast College collect food from May 25 to June 1. You can drop off donations at the collection bins at either the Weyburn or Estevan campus.

On Friday, June 5, the College will hold pizza lunches for staff at its Weyburn and Estevan campuses, with all proceeds going to benefit the Weyburn and Estevan Food Banks. Staff will be contributing both food and cash donations in exchange for a slice for lunch.

"We are a member of these communities and we serve people throughout the southeast," said Dion McGrath, President and CEO of Southeast College. "We challenge other businesses and groups to join in with us and help fill those shelves."
