Family Day Celebration Initiatives are being offered by the Southeast Connection Sport, Culture and Recreation District.
The Family Day Celebration Initiative supports southeast communities and organizations to coordinate accessible, low-cost or free active and/or creative family-based activities during the Family Day weekend on Feb. 18-20.
A Family Day Celebration event is an event for the whole community. Parents, children, families and neighbours have an opportunity to come together to have some fun.
Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis from Jan. 18 to Feb. 13, or until funding has been allocated.
Applicants may apply for up to $300 and may only apply once. The event must take place during Feb. 18 to 20. Applicants will be notified of their status within two to three business days after applying. More information and applications are available online at: www.southeastconnection.ca.
