The Wheatland Senior Centre will be highlighting the importance of seniors’ contributions to the province before the upcoming Seniors’ Week in Saskatchewan, which will be held October 1 to 7.
The Wheatland Senior Centre opened in September of 1988 and is a non-profit organization, which relies on volunteer services as well as fundraising to help maintain the centre.
A silent auction will be held at the Wheatland Seniors Centre from September 24 to 30, right before Senior’s Week in Saskatchewan.
All the funds raised during the auction will be put back into the centre. Businesses or organizations that want to donate to the silent auction can contact Bonnie Evans at the Wheatland Senior Centre.
