They are Fire Chief Pat Slater and members Corey Bacon, Devon Brigden, Randy Coderre, Ray Coderre, Wayne Coderre, Mike DeWalt, Craig Donnelly, Hayden Dyke, Kevin Dyke, Trevor Elliott, Leon Gilbertson, Chris Griffin, Vic Katay, Shane Lyke, Don McIntosh, Evan Raitwet, John Wilton, Kyle Wilton, Max Wilton, Tyson Wright and Tyler Wyatt.

The province has declared Fire Prevention week from Oct.7-11. All smoke detectors have an expiration date so be sure and know what that date is to ensure maximum safety.

The Stoughton Swimming Pool announced the Applause Dinner Theatre fundraiser was a success. About 115 people attended the dinner and enjoyed the play, "Tackled a Football Play", held at the Memorial Hall on Oct. 5.

The town of Stoughton has a bylaw enforcement officer who may be knocking on your door for various bylaw infractions, such as letting your dog run loose and not being licenced, causing a disturbance/nuuisance, illegal parking among others.

The town has contracted with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires to provide the much-needed service which begins this month. The Commissionaire will be in uniform and the vehicle decaled.

There are five residential lots for sale in town. The 65 X 92 foot fully serviced lots are selling for $45,000 each and are located east of the new day care facility.

Upgrades to the water treatment plant and filtration system have been awarded to Clark's Supply and Service from Moose Jaw. Work is sheduled to begin soon and will be completed in 2014.
