The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has announced a temporary disruption to the emergency services at the Arcola Health Centre.
Due to concerns related to the structural integrity of the emergency room entrance, the duration of the disruption will not be determined until a structural assessment has been completed.
“Lab, x-ray, inpatient, ambulatory care services are not affected by this disruption,” the advisory states.
Emergency services are available at the Redvers Health Centre, Kipling Integrated Health Centre, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Estevan and Weyburn General Hospital.
People are asked to call 911 for emergencies or HealthLine toll-free 24 hours per day at 811 if they have questions in regards to their health.
The Mercury will have more details as they become available.
