The Family Place Festival of Trees on display at Barber Motors

The Barber Motors Showroom is decked out for the holidays with The Family Place 14th Annual Festival of Trees underway. Tree decorators set up their creations from November 18 to November 20 and the doors opened for public display on November 21.

Hunter Dugan, 15, decorated his fifth tree for the Weyburn Family Place Festival of Trees with stuffed animals. He was the first student of the Mini-Go program which was launched in 2002. The 14th annual Festival of Trees is being held in the Barber Motors Showroom from November 21 to 28. The trees will be auctioned at a celebration on November 28.

Tree decorators set up their creations from November 18 to November 20 and the doors opened for public display on November 21.

Weyburn residents are invited to the showroom during Barber Motors business hours to view the display of trees and vote on their favourites as well as enter their bid on any one of the 100 silent auction items up for grabs.

On Grey Cup Sunday, the Festival of Trees is open from noon until 3 p.m.

Santa will be flying in on Tuesday, November 26 for photos with kids which will be done by members of the South East Photo Club.

The Festival of Trees celebration and tree auction will be held on Thursday, November 28 at 6 p.m. The live auction will begin at 7 p.m.
